The umbrella organisation of dozens of nature conservation associations in Germany is an important coordinator and political actor in Berlin and Brussels and commissioned us to develop a corporate design that better reflects this role.
A new corporate design for the association.
As an umbrella organisation, the German Nature Conservation Ring (DNR) brings together 87 different nature, animal and environmental protection organisations and other actors from the sustainability sector. wegewerk supported the DNR with the development of a new corporate design that does justice to its role as the "umbrella organisation for nature conservation".
A logo for the conservation of ecosystems.
The logo design is based on the idea of visualising the close cooperation of the members in the association with the help of interlocking rings. The representation is based on the planetary boundaries and emphasises the self-image of the German Nature Conservation Ring to work together with its members for the conservation of the earth and ecosystems. The colour scheme reflects this theme with green, blue and brown tones inspired by nature. The logo was also animated for integration on the website.
From logo to business stationery.
Based on the logo and colour scheme, wegewerk also designed the DNR's business stationery. The interlocking ring segments of the logo can be found on business cards and letterheads - wegewerk designed Word templates for other documents.
Brochures and website of the DNR.
The design of the DNR's brochures also picks up on the colour scheme. Specially designed icons and infographics combine print content with the look and feel of the website and illustrate the DNR's content and demands.
