Federal Foreign Office Web Special "Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe
On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe, the Federal Foreign Office commissioned us to edit and produce a web special in nine languages.
On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe, the Federal Foreign Office launched a campaign to present Germany's contribution to the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe and its positive effects.
In a first step, a brochure was to be developed for this purpose, which would tell the success stories of the Stability Pact on the basis of four selected projects. The target group was the politically interested public in Germany, international experts and the general public in the region. wegewerk, together with its cooperation partner eacon, won the pitch and set to work.
Not only were the contents and the design of the brochure to be delivered within two weeks, the printing also had to be completed. After researching the content, wegewerk began with the text production, which was completed with the acceptance by the Federal Foreign Office. In parallel, the design and structure of the brochure was developed. Here, wegewerk followed the guidelines of the Federal Foreign Office and supplemented them with sensitively selected photos of the projects.
In a second step, wegewerk was commissioned to create a so-called web special. This is an independent, self-contained website that serves exclusively to present the German contribution to the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe and its positive effects. With the help of 20 project examples, the complicated interrelationships are presented in an easily understandable way. The decisive factor for commissioning wegewerk was the convincing structuring and preparation of the content as well as the sensitive handling of the subject matter.
In addition to the editorial preparation of the topic, the scope of services includes the conception, design and programming as well as the hosting of the web special. The project went online in December 2004 as the first barrier-free website of the Federal Foreign Office. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
